Today Sucks...

FINALLY!  I have time to work on that golf game!  Now that I'm no longer gainfully employed, I'd rather go and play golf than sit at home and watch TV. 

I guess I should back up just a bit, at 10:00 am this morning, the VP for our Division and the VP of HR showed up in Chandler and terminated the services of the two managers at the facility that I worked at (me and my boss)...this would be the BAD NEWS. Here's the GOOD NEWS, the powers that be gave me a better severance package than I would have expected and they have worked with me to accommodate a "special circumstance" that I'm currently in the middle of.

So a five plus year run comes to an end.  The saddest part of it all is that I will miss all the professionals that I've worked with the past few years.  The company was a joy to work for and I've loved the experiences that I had as a part of that team.  Oh well, easy come, easy go...on to the next challenge.

Now does anyone know where I put my golf shoes?
